What could be wrong with my big screen tv?
I had a convergence problem, so I replaced my two ICS chips. I could not find any resistors that looks burned or anything. Tv looked better, but still had problems converging. Replaced the chips again, and still have the same problem. I can move red up and down, and blue side to side…..but can not move red side to side, or blue up and down… Is there something im missing? Is there anyway else to manually try convergeing from inside the tv or something? Its a phillips 60″ hdtv ready. One of the last 4:3 ratio’s they made. Thanks for any help anyone can give.
1-double check make sure voltage supply to ic ,check all little fuse(small size look like resistor).if they all good then
2-mostly you need to aligne by use remote control
you need code # of your tv ,to go to mode to align for convergence
3- if you have a service manual or may be owner manual they have a code #
